Rural water pricing
SunWater is a government owned corporation that owns and operates water supply schemes across regional Queensland. The Queensland Competition Authority has recently completed a review of rural irrigation prices to apply to SunWater water supply schemes for the 2012-2017 price path.
Water planning and management charges in Queensland
The department determines and administers charges for water planning and management, which include the water licence fee and water harvesting, groundwater and meter services charges.
