Water use assessment report (PDF, 56K)* Water sharing rules are the rules prescribed under the Water Regulation 2002 for a water licence not managed under a resource operations plan. The water sharing rules describe the management arrangements for access to water within a water management area If water sharing rules apply, meter malfunction or breakdown must be reported to the department as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made to repair or replace the water meter. During the period between reporting the incident and the repair/replacement of the meter, the water entitlement holder must complete W2F095 Water use assessment report (PDF, 56K)* to account for water use during this time.

Nominate a distribution operations licence holder (PDF, 51K)* Section 107C of the Water Act 2000 provides for the transfer of functions from a water authority under Chapter 4 of the Water Act to a two tier structure such as a holding co-operative and a trading co-operative (two tier co-operative) by providing that the owner of the infrastructure may nominate an entity to be the distribution operations licence (DOL) holder.
