Reports and spatial products
Accessible information
SLATS provides the following information at little or no cost:
- Consistently processed satellite imagery for the entire state from 1988 onwards
- Annual reports on land cover change
- Detailed spatial datasets, including change in woody vegetation and foliage projective cover (FPC)
This data has been used for projects as diverse as analysing land degradation, updating Regional Ecosystem mapping, assessing carbon emissions, identifying land suitable for carbon sequestration and monitoring compliance.
