Satellite imagery - up to 88 images acquired in one year covering all of state - processed as part of Statewide Landcover and Trees Study (SLATS) - (client to supply USB hard drive)
SLATS obtains its 'raw' Level 5 Landsat satellite imagery from the Australian Centre for Remote Sensing (ACRES). Each image represents approximately 185km by 185km on the ground and a total of 87 individual scenes are required to cover the whole state allowing for overlap. The Archive contains Landsat Multi-spectral Scanner (MSS), Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper (TM) and Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) imagery from the July 1972 to present. The acquisition includes some temporal overlap between the sensors and is determined by the periodicity of the SLATS monitoring periods.
