Environmental characteristics - wet tropics - digital data for download
The Queensland Government through the Reef Water Quality Protection Plan (Reef Plan) has introduced legislation and projects to help improve the quality of water entering the Great Barrier Reef lagoon. The DERM corporate Soil and Land Information (SALI) database has been interrogated to extract data relating to the inherent properties of the landscape which may impact on surface water quality. There are four shapefiles which complete this data set. The data is accompanied by 2 reports.
