Moreton Bay Marine Park Shorebird sites - digital data for download
The Queensland Wader Study Group (QWSG) conducts regular counts of waders around Moreton Bay, Cairns, Townsville, Gladstone and other regions. From this the QWSG maintains a MicroSoft Access database on the distribution and abundance of Queensland waders. A copy of the QWSG database was provided to the Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) on 26/08/2009 in order to produce a spatial coverage of wader sites within the Moreton Bay Marine Park planning area.
