Contour data - derived from LIDAR - per one kilometre square tile - all tiles in Local Government will be supplied - within a single project area
These datasets consists of contour features generated by LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) with generally a 0.25 metre contour interval. Contours have been generated automatically from a smoothed triangulated ground model and visually checked for completeness and logical consistency. Some cartographic licences have been applied in areas where laser points were not captured. Original contours supplied by the contractor have been generalised to reduce file size with no discernable difference in shape.
