Coastline - Queensland - digital data for download
This data depicts the coastline of mainland Queensland and its offshore marine islands. The coastline generally follows the mean high water springs tidal line. However, where this line is obscured by vegetation and in particular mangroves, the seaward edge of the vegetation is adopted as the coastline as per the Queensland Topographic Specifications (QTOS) 1988
