Recreational wildlife licence for protected plants under the Nature Conservation Act

Wildlife legislation in Queensland allows for certain recreational uses of native plants. These usually entail the use of native wildlife for private or personal enjoyment (i.e. not as part of a business). If you are intending to take whole protected plants or plant parts (including foliage, flowers or seed), or you intend to engage in any trade in whole protected plants or plant parts, you may need a recreational wildlife licence under the Nature Conservation Act.
