Wild Rivers declared preservation area - Queensland - digital data for download
This dataset contains the boundaries of High Preservation Areas and Preservation Areas within declared Qld Wild Rivers Areas as defined under a wild river declaration for the Wild Rivers Act 2005. The High Preservation Area encompasses the Wild River (main stem, major tributaries and special features) and a buffer width up to 1km around the wild river. In this area the natural values of a wild river are more sensitive to development, and thus most future developments will be mostly prohibited.
