Preparing a restoration plan if a field visit is not required, under the Vegetation Management Act
Where the department has formed a reasonable belief that a vegetation clearing offence has occurred; a restoration notice may be issued by the Department as a compliance action. In the process of the department imposing a restoration notice, the affected landholder has the ability to compile a mandatory restoration plan or request that the department compile such a plan. If the department compiles a restoration plan without a field visit, it will incur a specific fee.
