Right to information - processing charge if the agency or Minister spends no more than 5 hrs processing the application
The Qld Government recognises that the public has a right to know the information that is created and used by government on their behalf. Right to Information Act promotes a culture of openness, accountability and transparency, balanced with appropriate protections for certain information, including personal information. In practice, this means that information will be released unless, on balance, its release is contrary to the public interest.
