Regional vegetation management planning boundaries - Queensland - digital data for download
The dataset represents the area under which each Regional Vegetation Management Code as declared at 20/11/2006 applies. These Codes are used to assess development applications for clearing vegetation under the IPA 1997. The Codes are prepared according to the provisions of the Vegetation Management Act 1999 (VMA) and are applied where the VMA allows an application for assessable clearing to be accepted. The code areas are based on the Bioregions and Subregions of Queensland - Version 4.3
