This Fitzroy Basin Resource Operations Plan January 2004 implements the Water Resource (Fitzroy Basin) Plan 1999. A water resource plan is a plan prepared under the provisions of the Water Act 2000, approved by the Minister and is subordinate legislation. A water resource plan sets the strategic framework for the allocation and sustainable management of water.
