Land Cover Change in the Reef Catchments Natural Resource Management Region 2008-09

In 2008-09, the Reef Catchments region recorded a woody vegetation clearing rate of 441 hectares per year (ha/year). This is the lowest since satellite monitoring began, and represents a decrease of 68% from the previous era.
