Project: Water Use Efficiency Investments for Healthy Headwaters

Draft information sheet published by the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation. The Healthy HeadWaters On-farm Water Use Efficiency program aims to secure water supplies in response to climate change and variability. It is a more accommodating pathway for future adjustment to the sustainable diversion limits that will emerge from the Murray Darling Basin Authority's basin planning process. This project will provide irrigators in the Queensland Murray-Darling with the necessary information, training and tools to assess the cost:benefit of investing in water use efficiency technologies through this program.
