Recycled Water Management Plan: Exemption Guidelines: December 2011
The recycled water provisions of the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008 commenced on 1 July 2008 and are administered by the department. The primary aim of the recycled water provisions is to protect public health and, for certain schemes known as critical recycled water schemes, where applicable, to ensure continuity of operation of the scheme to meet the essential water supply needs of the community or industry.
