Queensland's river improvement trusts - summary of annual reports and financial statements 2007-08
The trusts are statutory bodies under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977, and in each financial year are obliged to provide an annual report and audited financial statements to the Minister for Natural Resources and Water and Minister Assisting the Premier in North Queensland. The Minister must table in the Queensland Parliament either a copy of each trust's annual report or a summary report for all river improvement trusts. This report is a summarised compilation of the individual annual reports produced by the state's 16 trusts (including one abolished trust) for the year ending 30 June 2008.
