Interim resource operations licence for Ross River water supply scheme
This product was issued to Townsville City Council in April 2008. Interim resource operations licences authorise the holder of the licence to interfere with the flow of water to the extent necessary to operate water infrastructure to which the licence applies. Interim resource operations licences may be granted in relation to existing infrastructure in an area where a resource operations plan has not been approved or proposed infrastructure.

This series provides information referring to interim resource operations licences (IROLs) which authorise the holder of the licence to interfere with the flow of water to the extent necessary to operate water infrastructure to which the licence applies. They may be granted in relation to existing or proposed infrastructure in an area where a resource operations plan has not been approved. The series also covers amendments to the water sharing rules in the IROL for selected Water Supply Scheme for a specified period of time.
