Fresh and marine water quality in the Mackay Whitsunday region 2004/05 to 2006/07
As part of the Mackay Whitsunday Healthy Waterways Integrated Monitoring Program, this report outlines event-based runoff water quality (sediment, nutrients and herbicides) results collected from single land-use (forest, sugar cane, grazing and urban) dominated sub-catchments and mixed land-use catchments throughout the Mackay Whitsunday region from 2004/05 to 2006/07. The extent and dispersion of these terrestrial pollutants into the Great Barreir Reef lagoon is also reported.
