Estimating deep drainage in the Queensland Murray-Darling Basin using soil chloride - technical report

The aim of this study was to investigate deep drainage under dryland cropping in the Queensland Murray-Darling Basin (QMDB). Deep drainage is defined as water moving below the root zone of plants. Understanding deep drainage and how it is affected by land use is critical to assessing the risk of dryland salinity.
