Land resources of the lower Burdekin river delta: north Burdekin and south Burdekin water board areas, north Queensland - final report 2003
This project has provided a comprehensive database of the soil types of the Burdekin Delta. Soil mapping of approximately 68000 hectares, comprising 43000 hectares in the North Burdekin Water Board, and 23000 hectares in the South Burdekin Water Board, has been completed. The maps and databases produced as a result of the project will be provided to stakeholders to help them make informed management decisions about the sustainable use of land and water resources in the Burdekin Delta. Created as part of the rural water use efficiency initiative.
