Land cover change in the Northern Gulf natural resource management region 2003-2004
The Statewide Landcover and Trees Study (SLATS) is a major vegetation monitoring initiative of the department. An analysis of 2003-2004 woody vegetation change has been completed for the Northern Gulf natural resource management region and is the subject of this report.

The Statewide Landcover and Trees Study (SLATS) project is a major vegetation monitoring initiative to investigate the overall cover of woody vegetation, and to report on the previously unquantified extent of land clearing in Queensland using scientifically developed and tested methods. This series details land cover change in Queensland's natural resource management regions. The information sheet series should be read with the full reports in the Land cover change reports series.
