Planning guidelines - the identification of good quality agricultural land - technical report
The implementation of State Planning Policy 1/92: Development and the Conservation of Agricultural Land requires decision makers in both local and state governments to be aware of the location and extent of good quality agricultural land (GQAL). Such information is necessary so that provisions for the protection of this land can be included in strategic plans, development control plans (DCPs) and other elements of planning schemes.
