Fact sheet CP4 explains the functions and powers of the department's authorised officers who enforce laws protecting Queensland's natural resources under the various acts: Land Act 1994, Sustainable Planning Act 2009, Vegetation Management Act 1999, Water Act 2000, Land Protection (Pest and Stock Route Management) 2002, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003, Torres Strait Islander Cultural Heritage Act 2003 and Forestry Act 1959.
