Australian Protected Areas Congress (APAC) 2008 Proceedings
The Australian Protected Areas Congress was the culmination of Queensland's Centenary of Parks celebrations. It was an outstanding success. The Congress brought together around 330 delegates from all over Australia and from New Zealand, India, South Africa, Switzerland and Canada. 164 abstracts were submitted for review leading to an exceptional standard of presentations and discussions. Invited speakers from a variety of related disciplines and organisations shared their experiences and knowledge with the keen audience.
