Personal Protective Equipment Management Procedure - HRS/2012/5053
The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management Procedure provides whole of DERM direction to ensure that legislative obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 related to PPE are met. This direction is inclusive of risk management, selection, purchase, supply, training, fitting, wearing and use, support, maintenance (including cleaning, repairing or replacing), record-keeping, storage and disposal of PPE. The procedure also covers recording and management of PPE items through establishing and maintaining PPE Management Records and Registers.
