Guideline - Activities in a watercourse, lake or spring carried out by a landowner - WAP/2011/4765
This guideline may be used by landowners when destroying native vegetation, excavating or placing fill in a watercourse, lake or spring (an activity) without a riverine protection permit. The landowners can undertake these activities for the purpose of: constructing, installing, maintaining and protecting small scale structures; establishing and maintaining the flow of water around structures; and protecting and enhancing bed and bank stability.
