WM - 307 Providing the chief executive's written consent under the Water Act 2000 (Qld) to the making of an application for a water related development permit - WAM/2002/1132
In accordance with section 967 of the Water Act 2000 (Qld) (Water Act) a development permit application for operational works that take water or interfere with the flow of water must be accompanied by the chief executive's written consent to the application being made and, in accordance with the Sustainable Planning Regulation 2009 (Qld) (SP Regulation), the development application must also be supported by the required evidence of the chief executive under the Water Act. This work practice clarifies the process relating to the required evidence and giving written consent.
