DECISION MAKING AND REQUESTS FOR STATEMENTS OF REASONS UNDER THE JUDICIAL REVIEW ACT 1991 (ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES STANDARD) - ADM/2002/965
This Standard provides policy and procedural guidance to all departmental officers who: i. make decisions of an administrative character reviewable under the Judicial Review Act 1991 (the Act); ii. process requests under the Act for Statements of Reasons for administrative decisions. The guidelines in the Standard aim at: ? improving the quality of administrative decisions reviewable under the Act to minimise the incidence of requests for Statements of Reasons; and ? providing advice on responding to requests for Statements of Reasons.
