Comet, Nogoa and Mackenzie rivers

The study area, covering about 57 963 km², includes catchments of the Mackenzie River and its tributaries—about 12 992 km², Nogoa River and its tributaries—about 27 676 km², Comet River and its tributaries—about 17 295 km^2. 

Of the 323 subsections identified in the catchment, 200 were surveyed. These included 254 ‘full survey’ and 7 ‘photograph only’ sites.
