This activity provides opportunities for students to explore past practices in agriculture, their cost and future implications.
Students:
- understand that changing one aspect of the environment has effects on other aspects of the environment;
- think about how land use practices over time have contributed to land degradation;
- discuss the events that have impacted on our natural resources and to propose alternative land use methods for a sustainable future.
